Hibiscus is one of the most popular decorative plants but it is also used as food and medicine.

MEDICINAL USAGE

An infusion of leaves and flowers helps during painful and excessive menstruation. To cure skin problems, should be used externally (bath or compress).

Flower and leaf decoction is known to treat flu, coughs and asthma. Hibiscus is a diuretic, which helps eliminate toxins and cleans the kidneys.
