No, you don’t! Getting to Cahuita Wildlife Lodge from the center of Cahuita is easy, and there’s no need to rent a car unless you want to.
You can choose from a few convenient options:
Walk: The lodge is located about 3.5 kilometers (approximately 2.2 miles) from the center of town. It’s a flat and scenic walk along the main road, and many guests enjoy taking their time to soak in the Caribbean atmosphere. It usually takes around 40–45 minutes at a relaxed pace.
Bike: Bicycles are widely available for rent in town and are a fun, eco-friendly way to get around.
Private transportation: If you prefer to arrive in comfort, we can help arrange a private transfer directly to the lodge.
