USAGE
Well known in traditional medicine in South America, especially Brazil and Peru. Likewise in the Caribbean and India.
MEDICINAL USES
Highly valued for its ability to break up, dissolve and mobilize medium-sized stones in the bile ducts, bladder and kidneys. ‘For this objective, it is advisable to use it in a tea decoction of the leaves for periods of no more than 15 days in a row. It is then recommended to stop for a week and then repeat the treatment. At the end of this process it is appropriate to carry out clinical examinations to see if they were eliminated from the body.

USOS MEDICINALES
Muy valorada por su capacidad de romper, disolver y movilizar piedras de mediano tamaño en las vias biliares, la vejiga y los riñones. Para este objetivo se aconsea utilizarlo en decoción del té de las hojas por períodos no mayores a 15 dias seguidos. Se recomienda entonces parar por una semana y luego repetir el tratamiento. Al final de este proceso es oportuno efectuar exámenes clínicos para ver si se lograron eliminar del organismo.
