CHARACTERISTICS
It is a creeping plant with stolons. Leaves of various colors ranging from brown to pale green, pink and red. Light lavender flowers. They live in the tropical forest and prefer humidity. Shaded areas. Lowlands. And on the edges of the ravines and rivers.
USAGE
As an ornamental, they are planted in pots and are very well appreciated for being a plant resistant to changes in temperature as long as it is kept in shade or semi-shade.

Como ornamental se siembran en macetas y son muy bien apreciadas por tratarse de una planta resistente a los cambios de temperatura siempre y cuando se mantenga en sombra o semi sombra.
USOS MEDICINALES
Los indígenas bribris y cabécares le atribuyen propiedades afrodisiacas, Algunos le llaman incluso el viagra natural. Sobre esto aún no se han hecho estudios muy detallados.
